About Gentle Giants
Gentle Giants is a truly original and experienced family company that offers unforgettable experiences in the wild nature of Iceland. Based in Húsavík, the famous whale watching town, Gentle Giants provides exciting whale watching tours and other seafaring adventures. Our company was founded in 2001 by a group of eleven individuals with years of expertise in different fields, who restored an old oak boat and transformed it into a vessel for whale watching.
Today, we operate a fleet of traditional Icelandic oak boats, modern RIB speedboats, and a fiberglass boat, allowing us to offer a variety of scheduled and private tours. With our deep roots in the bay of Skjálfandi and 160 years of family history, we have a profound respect for nature and strive for minimal environmental impact. We also support various local projects and charities, demonstrating our commitment to social responsibility.
