Gentleshaw Wildlife

Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre, located in Eccleshall, Staffordshire, is a registered charity dedicated to the care of exotic animals and birds of prey. Established in the late 1980s, it serves as both an animal sanctuary and a hospital for wildlife, particularly focusing on the rehabilitation of wild raptors. The Centre is home to over 30 species, including birds of prey, primates, reptiles, raccoons, and more, all receiving meticulous care to ensure their health and welfare.

Offering permanent and temporary homes for unwanted or mistreated exotic animals, Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre emphasizes safety and compassion. Visitors can explore the centre, which is open Wednesday through Sunday during the school term and all week during holidays, with affordable admission prices.

The Centre is currently enhancing its facilities with new indoor housing for its residents, made possible through generous community support. Your donations play a vital role in sustaining their mission, allowing them to provide exceptional care for their animal family. Join us in making a difference and experience the beauty of wildlife up close.
