Géochrono

Géochrono provides geolocation, live race standings and timing solutions for motorsport events. Its system is designed to support race control and give event officials an integrated view of vehicle locations and race progress. The interactive transponders include 160 units with three automatic modes for reconnaissance, road sections and competition. Features include OK and SOS buttons, an accelerometer, red-flag notifications, speed alerts in restricted zones and messaging. At race control, the platform combines vehicle tracking, race monitoring and sporting regularity timing. Each deputy race director can use a workstation with one computer and two screens to view geolocation and follow the event. The interface includes mapping for control points, starts, finishes, stop points and kilometre markers, along with visual and audible alerts. Géochrono also provides race-control classification and data-processing tools through a software platform shared by several associations.
