GeoForum, hosted on geologi.it, is an Italian online community offering a direct discussion space for geologists and people interested in geology. Its forums support professional exchange, peer advice, and public discussion across geological and technical subjects. Topics include geotechnics, applied geology, hydrogeology, seismic studies, geothermal energy, environmental remediation, civil protection, and the practice of geology. Dedicated areas cover GIS, CAD, graphics, geophysical and geotechnical software, and tools such as QGIS, ModFlow, and gvSIG.

The site also provides practical resources and opportunities for the professional community. Members can browse job notices from companies and geologists seeking work, post free advertisements, and use GeoMarket to seek or offer used equipment for laboratory work and field investigations. GeoFoto invites users to share images of minerals, fossils, outcrops, landslides, floods, and damaged buildings for discussion. Additional sections feature courses, conferences, news, free software and study materials, as well as a forum for GeoStru software users. Registration is required to actively participate by posting messages, while visitors can browse the discussions and community content.
