About George Moore Scholars
The George Moore Scholars programme, an initiative by The Ireland Funds, is a prestigious all-Ireland scholarship programme designed to empower academically talented students pursuing a Master's degree. With a focus on supporting postgraduate studies in the USA, Canada, Europe, and the UK, this programme aims to provide high-value, multi-year scholarships for up to 300 outstanding students from 2020 to 2030. Whether you're interested in research or a taught Master's degree, this opportunity is open to all disciplines.
The scholars will be carefully selected from esteemed higher education institutions across the island of Ireland. Graduating in 2022 or 2023? You are eligible to apply. Additionally, a limited number of Early Career Scholarships are available for candidates who graduated in the last five years and require specific work experience for their Master's programme.
Selected scholars are those who exhibit immense potential to make a positive impact on social, economic, cultural, artistic, or economic development. It's important to note that George Moore Scholarship recipients can combine this award with other sources of support or scholarships.
