Georgia Diving Club is a competitive diving program based at the University of Georgia’s Ramsey Center. Established in 1987, the club offers diving lessons, athlete training, and opportunities to compete locally and across the country. Prospective divers can try a free introductory lesson, and the club provides programs for children, teens, and adults.
Training takes place at Gabrielsen Natatorium, whose Olympic-level diving well includes two 1-meter and two 3-meter springboards, plus platforms at 1, 3, 5, 7.5, and 10 meters. Programs range from Future Champions, which introduces diving fundamentals, to Silver Dawgs and Junior Dawgs, which develop skills for competition. The National Team is the club’s highest-level program, preparing athletes for the USA Junior Diving Circuit. A High School Group focuses on preparation for school-season diving, while Masters offers adult practices in a relaxed setting.
Practice schedules and attendance expectations vary by group, with seasonal or month-to-month commitments available. Georgia Diving Club shares program information and welcomes inquiries from families considering diving.
