About GeoSlice
GeoSlice is an innovative daily geography splitting game that invites players to engage with real-world locations by using accurate population data. The game showcases Tom's passion for geography, maps, and travel, evolving from his earlier project, Flagpie. Players are dropped into various real locations, ranging from US states to Pacific islands, and tasked with splitting these areas as evenly as possible.
The mechanics rely on genuine population datasets, considering rural populations in addition to urban ones. GeoSlice offers three interactive modes: a single line split, a three-way center point with spokes, and a four-way perpendicular split, with each mode featuring three daily rounds scored separately. Currently in active development, GeoSlice continues to evolve based on user feedback, refining its scoring systems and region selections.
As a one-person initiative, Tom welcomes player input and strives to enhance the gaming experience, making GeoSlice a unique and educational adventure for geography enthusiasts
