The main target of NGO Geothermal Ukraine (GU) is to apply the technologies/infrastructure from O & G sector for application to the Geothermal one. The founders of (GU) have extensive experience in O & G industry. GU team will be applying these skills to R&D Geothermal Energy projects, share the knowledge with relevant organizations, and provide consultancy to others interested in developing Geothermal Energy in Ukraine. About Geothermal Ukraine
Geothermal Ukraine | Ivano is a brand that specializes in geothermal energy in Ukraine. As a non-profit organization founded in April 2022, Geothermal Ukraine is dedicated to scientific research and exploration in the field of geothermal energy. Their goal is to develop geothermal energy sources in Ukraine to accelerate the transition to clean energy and achieve zero emissions targets.
Geothermal Ukraine brings together professionals in petroleum engineering, earth sciences, and geothermal energy expertise to harness the geothermal potential of Ukraine. By leveraging the synergy between academia and the oil and gas industry, they aim to enhance energy independence and security. The brand's activities include conducting scientific and technical research projects, utilizing thermal water for various purposes, exploring shallow and deep geothermal resources, and repurposing abandoned oil and gas wells for geothermal energy production.
