GerdaSannie

Gerda Sannie is a medium and artist from Volendam, known locally by the name Gerda Sannie. She describes feeling a strong connection to mediumship from an early age and says she has pursued numerous courses and studies. Her work is centred on offering spiritual support and creative services to people seeking connection, guidance, or remembrance.

Through mediumship, Gerda says she receives messages from people who have died and helps facilitate communication between the living and the deceased. She also offers the possibility of seeking contact with a loved one through a photograph. In the Edam-Volendam region, she provides spiritual support to people who are nearing the end of life, helping them address fears and, where possible, connect with deceased loved ones as they prepare for the transition.

Her artistic practice includes intuitive sculpting. Using a person’s name and date of birth as inspiration, she creates a sculpture intended to reflect that person’s character. Each sculpture is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, a photograph, and an explanation of the work.
