About Geregu Power Plc
Geregu Power Plc is a leading power generation company in Nigeria. Situated at Itobe – Ajaokuta Express Road, Ajaokuta, Kogi State, the company was established by the Federal Government in 2007 to generate electric power for the National Grid. Geregu Power Plant is owned and operated by Amperion Power Distribution Company Limited, with the Federal Government retaining a 20% stake.
The plant consists of three gas turbine generator units with a total installed capacity of 435MW, supplying 10% of Nigeria's power. Geregu Power is committed to sustainable power generation and aims to accelerate economic growth in Nigeria through the provision of reliable and efficient power supply.
