Gerekmiyor.com is a second-hand marketplace serving Northern Cyprus, connecting people who want to pass on useful items with those who need them. Across cities including Famagusta, Girne, Guzelyurt, Iskele, Lefke and Lefkosa, users can browse and post listings in categories such as electronics, fashion and accessories, vehicles, home and living, books, hobbies, and more. Sellers can offer items at a fixed price, put them up for auction, or invite trades; users can also list items for donation to charities or people in need.

Individuals, companies and charities can sign up and post listings free of charge, with up to 10 live listings available at no cost. Donation listings do not use a listing slot, and listings are also shared automatically on the marketplace’s Facebook and Instagram pages. The Gerekmiyor mobile app supports posting, messaging, following offers, and saving searches, with instant notifications. The platform aims to give pre-owned goods another life, help users get value from items they no longer need, and encourage sharing within local communities.
