GermanCadetClass

GermanCadetClass Association is the German community and class association for young sailors competing in the international Cadet class. Designed specifically for children and teenagers, the two-person Cadet boat gives young people the opportunity to learn sailing, develop independence, and build teamwork and communication skills on the water. The association supports sailors at different experience levels, from beginners to developing competitors, and aims to provide a lasting sporting home grounded in enjoyment, fair play, and community.

Through its member clubs, the association offers training opportunities, age-appropriate instruction, training camps, events, and regattas in Germany and abroad. Its activities support both sailing skills and young people’s sporting and personal development, with guidance from a network of coaches, parents, and club members. Members can also take part in international competitions, meet sailors from other countries, and exchange experience within a worldwide class community. GermanCadetClass Association shares updates, regatta information, FAQs, and details about its organization and activities, helping families and young sailors find information and connect with the Cadet sailing community.
