About Gero Axular Dantza Taldea
Gero Axular Dantza Taldea was created in 2004 by a group of parents from Donostiako Axular ikastola, with the aim of taking a step further in Basque dance. The group not only aims to appreciate and preserve our culture but also works towards its development and promotion. Over the years, they have presented six performances: Sasi Artean, Lamien Basoa, Talaia, Xereta, Argizaiola, and Itzal galdua.
Gero Axular is dedicated to showcasing the beauty and significance of Basque dance. Additionally, Gero Axular Dantza Taldea collaborates with different organizations and foundations such as ApoyoDravet, Emaús Fundación Social Matia, Fundazioa Zorroaga, and Fundazioa Kontratazioa. They also offer dance classes to pass on the traditions and teach the art of dance.
