Geschichten des Abschieds

Geschichten des Abschieds is the personal practice of Sarah Fischer, née Wermuth, a funeral celebrant, farewell planner and writer serving Bremen, Lower Saxony and East Frisia. She offers compassionate, discreet support to families arranging a funeral, helping them create a personal and dignified farewell that reflects the life, character and relationships of the person who has died. Through individual conversations, Sarah prepares tailored eulogies and farewell stories, and remains available by phone and in writing to answer questions and support families’ wishes.

Her services can include planning and accompanying the funeral ceremony, preparing personal rituals, coordinating the event on the day and providing the speech as a written keepsake. Families may choose a highly personal ceremony or a more general address when they prefer not to share private details. Sarah also accompanies sea burials and woodland funerals, and can advise on ceremonies in meaningful settings such as a garden, a favorite venue or a natural location
