About Gesecol
Gesecol SAS | Cota is a Colombian brand that specializes in ecological management. Our company was established to address the environmental need for proper waste management and to provide advisory services to businesses that require our expertise. One of our key areas of focus is post-consumer waste management.
As part of our extended producer responsibility (REP), we help manufacturers and importers of mass consumer products to organize, develop, and finance the comprehensive management of waste derived from their products. This means taking care of the waste once it is discarded by the end consumer. Our post-consumer waste management system follows a structured process, including design, formulation, presentation for approval, execution, waste procurement, collection, sorting, storage, utilization, and tracking of the entire management process.
