Gestam

Gestam is a Chilean environmental consultancy founded in Copiapó, with more than a decade of experience supporting projects in mining, energy, infrastructure and other productive sectors. Based in the Atacama Region, the company works across Chile, combining field experience with technical, regulatory and strategic advice throughout a project’s environmental cycle—from early-stage planning and baseline studies to environmental assessment, sectoral permits and implementation of environmental commitments.

Its multidisciplinary services include studies of flora, vegetation, fungi, lichens, vertebrate and invertebrate fauna, archaeology, paleontology, hydrology, hydrogeology, soils, landscape, tourism, traffic, noise and air quality. Gestam also provides integrated baseline assessments for the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA), environmental audits, permitting support, monitoring, training, and assistance with compliance obligations under Environmental Qualification Resolutions (RCA). Field surveys, species rescue and relocation, archaeological monitoring, water-resource studies and management plans are among its specialized offerings. Gestam emphasizes coordinated expertise, traceable data, robust methodologies and regulatory compliance to help clients assess environmental impacts and advance projects responsibly.
