Gestüt Taubenhof is an equestrian, training and agricultural business run by Nina Obermüller in Welzheim, near Stuttgart, in Germany’s Welzheimer Wald. The farm combines a boarding stable, horse training and instruction, and a small Quarter Horse breeding program. Its facilities are set among around 30 hectares of pasture and meadow, with an emphasis on horse welfare, thoughtful feeding and individual care.
Nina is a master horsewoman specializing in breeding and husbandry, a Trainer A, and a DQHA and FN breeding judge. Her work is informed by a strong interest in equine anatomy and biomechanics, which guides her approach to healthy movement and sustainable training. Gestüt Taubenhof offers young-horse training, riding instruction and schooling for horses and riders, with learning tailored to individual needs and at a comfortable pace. The breeding program aims to produce versatile, sensitive Quarter Horses with people-oriented temperaments and a willingness to work. Through its integrated approach to management, education and training, the farm seeks to foster confidence, understanding and harmony between horses and people.
