Gestüt Schlatt

Gestüt Schlatt is an equestrian breeding and training establishment in Müswangen, Switzerland, set in a forest clearing at 815 metres above sea level. Founded as a horse-breeding operation in the 1980s, it was taken over by Alexandra Häusler in 2007 and developed into a breeding farm specialising in spotted horses of warmblood type. Since 2015, the stud has collaborated with the Portuguese Lusitano stud Coudelaria João Pedro Rodrigues – R&H Lusitanos Lda. Its facilities include ten spacious stalls, some with outdoor access, and approximately five hectares of pasture.

The stud breeds and raises horses, offers foals and other horses for sale, and provides training from basic education to preparation for competition and driving. It also introduces young children to horses through HIPPOLINI®, a programme combining pony care, games and movement in small groups with two trained ponies. Designed as a child-friendly introduction to riding, the programme emphasises learning through experience. Gestüt Schlatt also welcomes enquiries about its horses, training and services.
