ArtCraft is an open-source creative studio for artists who want hands-on control when generating AI images and video. Available for macOS, Windows, and the web, it can be downloaded as a desktop app or used in a browser without installation. ArtCraft says its core tools are free to start and require no subscription.

Rather than relying on text prompts alone, the studio lets users plan and compose scenes before asking a model to render them. Its features include image-to-location workflows for consistent environments, 2D and 3D compositing, image-to-3D mesh conversion, character posing, and background removal. Artists can combine image cutouts, backdrops, props, and 3D assets on a canvas to arrange scenes with deliberate depth, layout, and camera blocking. The platform also provides access to AI models for image and video generation.

ArtCraft describes its studio as open source, with the code available on GitHub to read, fork, and adapt. It emphasizes user ownership and direct access to models without an aggregator middleman.
