Get Equipd Ltd

Get Equip’d International is a not-for-profit initiative operating in Miri, Malaysia, and Perth, Australia, with a mission to help people with disabilities receive support and participate more fully in their communities. Trading as Get Equip’d, Therapists Abroad provides equipment and therapy services in developing countries, while working to strengthen local capacity through education, training and partnerships. Its approach aims to support existing associations with essential equipment, professional knowledge and local funding connections.

The organisation also offers six-week overseas placements for tertiary students studying Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. These placements are currently focused on Miri, Malaysia, and combine practical learning with the initiative’s community-support goals.
