Mrmr

Activated with a keyboard shortcut, it offers a conversational way to act across apps, the web, and Mac files without switching windows. Unlike basic dictation or one-shot voice commands, mrmr can ask follow-up questions, chain steps, and delegate larger tasks to background agents. It is designed for macOS, lives in the menu bar, and only accesses the microphone when triggered. Reads are free, and mrmr asks for confirmation before creating, sending, or changing anything.

In Agent Mode, users can draft Slack messages, create Linear issues, manage calendars and reminders, work with Gmail and Notion, search the web with cited sources, find files, and run their own scripts. The service integrates with tools including Google Drive, Google Tasks, GitHub, Zoom, and Attio, with additional integrations planned. Dictation Mode provides polished voice typing in any Mac app, cleaning up filler words and adding punctuation, with support for around 60 automatically detected languages. mrmr is currently available through a private beta.
