ODK

ODK is an open-source data collection platform designed for researchers, field teams, and other professionals who need to gather information in diverse settings. Its form-building tools support photos, GPS locations, skip logic, calculations, external datasets, and multiple languages, helping users adapt forms to their projects. Data can be collected through mobile or web apps, both online and offline, and automatically synced when a connection becomes available.

Users can download their data or connect ODK with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, and R for analysis, dashboards, and automation. The platform is used across public health, global development, crisis response, and environmental research, among other sectors.

ODK Cloud provides a hosted, managed, and supported way to use the software, with subscription plans for different project sizes and needs. Options include features such as API access, data-sharing entities, single sign-on, custom domains, and dedicated support at higher tiers. Cloud customers can choose data storage in the United States, Europe, or India.
