About #GetUsPPE
Get Us PPE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the critical shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their mission is to find, make, and bring PPE to those in need, particularly frontline workers and under-resourced communities. Since March 2020, they have delivered over 17 million pieces of donated PPE to individuals and facilities across the United States, free of charge.
In addition to their vital role in providing PPE, Get Us PPE has also amassed the largest non-governmental database of PPE shortages in the country. This data has been instrumental in demonstrating the extent of the PPE shortage crisis and informing policy decisions, such as President Biden's COVID plan. By partnering with various organizations and leveraging a network of dedicated volunteers, Get Us PPE continues to make a significant impact in ensuring that those who need it most have access to life-saving protective equipment
