Get Wet

Get Wet is a children’s swimming school in Schwamendingen, Zurich, offering supportive, child-centred lessons that help children become comfortable and confident in the water. Its approach is playful and pressure-free, recognising that every child has individual strengths and learns at their own pace. Children can join small-group courses or, when they need a quieter and more individual setting, private lessons tailored to their needs. The instructor also works closely with parents and caregivers and has additional training as a certified integrative parenting counsellor.

Group courses use clear routines, focused learning activities and play to build swimming skills and encourage cooperation, confidence and enjoyment. Instruction covers the Swiss swimming levels from Krebs to Eisbär, with foundations for front crawl, breaststroke and backstroke. Further training develops technique, strength and endurance, while introducing water safety, basic rescue elements and bathing rules. Children receive level badges when they demonstrate the required skills, or may choose a motivational badge while they continue learning.
