Geuza is a social-impact company established in 2023 that makes assistive technology more accessible by transforming discarded electronics into affordable, sustainable devices. Its name comes from the Swahili word for “transform,” reflecting a mission that connects environmental responsibility with greater inclusion and mobility. Through circular innovation and advanced technology, Geuza gives e-waste a second life while supporting access to rehabilitation and disability services.

The company’s products include adult and pediatric wheelchairs, elbow and axillary crutches, leg prosthetics, and behind-the-ear devices. Geuza presents its products through an online shop and invites organisations to partner with it. Its work focuses on addressing barriers such as the high cost and limited availability of quality assistive devices, particularly for people with disabilities in Rwanda and across Africa.
