About GEWEX
GEWEX, the Global Energy and Water Exchanges project, is a vital part of the World Climate Research Programme dedicated to understanding Earth’s water cycle and energy fluxes. This global network of scientists collects and researches information to help predict changes in the world’s climate. The International GEWEX Project Office (IGPO) supports these activities by planning meetings, implementing research goals, and producing a quarterly newsletter to keep the GEWEX community informed.
GEWEX’s mission is to observe, understand, and model the hydrological cycle and energy fluxes in the Earth's atmosphere and at the surface. Their upcoming events, such as the GEWEX OSC 2024 and the 2nd LS4P-II Int. Workshop, provide valuable opportunities for scientists to collaborate and share their research.
