Gezinshuis Con Amore

Con Amore is a family-based care home in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands, founded by Lodewijk and Bianca on 1 February 2017. The couple run the home together while raising their two daughters, and can provide a place for up to four children. Con Amore supports children who, for various reasons, are unable to live at home. They are welcomed into the family household, where the aim is to offer a stable home and guide each child towards adulthood.

Care is shaped around each child’s individual abilities, needs and pace. Lodewijk and Bianca work with the children on personal goals, focusing on their strengths and talents rather than limitations. The home’s approach places importance on acceptance, respect and giving every child the opportunity to develop. Its name reflects its guiding principle: providing care from the heart, with love. Con Amore welcomes enquiries about the possibilities its family home can offer and how it may help identify an appropriate solution for a child’s situation.
