About Global Fund Advocates Network Asia-Pacific
Global Fund Advocates Network Asia-Pacific (GFAN AP) is a dynamic platform that mobilizes community and civil society advocates across the Asia-Pacific region to drive change in global health funding. GFAN AP was established in 2014 to strengthen advocacy and lobbying efforts for a fully funded Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. Working closely with national, regional, and global partners, GFAN AP actively engages in advocating for increased and sustainable domestic financing for health and Universal Health Coverage.
They also strive to shape policy frameworks that prioritize people and human rights in health financing. Beyond advocacy, GFAN AP serves as a catalyst for collective action, initiating and supporting powerful endeavors at global, regional, and national levels. They ensure the active participation and contribution of the Asia-Pacific region in the global movement supporting the Global Fund.
With a passionate Steering Committee and a dedicated Secretariat, GFAN AP is committed to making a difference in global health and strengthening alliances for a healthier future
