Global Financing for Education (GFE) is an education financing organisation supporting students across ASEAN through its Pay-It-Forward (PIF) model. Its mission is to help make quality education accessible by easing financial barriers and connecting students, educational institutions, donors, and other funders. PIF provides eligible students with upfront funding for essential study and living costs, including tuition, enrolment and programme fees, required learning materials, food, transport, and approved housing.

It is neither a conventional loan nor a scholarship. After graduation, once they begin earning, recipients contribute an agreed percentage of their monthly income for a set period, helping fund education for future students. GFE offers students an online application process and guidance on eligibility and required documents.
