Göteborgs Frifäktargille (GFFG) is a welcoming community dedicated to Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA), focusing primarily on the martial practices of the 14th to 16th centuries. Catering to all ages and skill levels, GFFG offers an engaging training environment where members can learn various weapons techniques, including longsword, dussack, rapier, and Iberian fencing. The organization emphasizes not only physical training but also intellectual challenge, fostering personal growth and skill development.

Safety is a priority, with injury rates significantly lower than traditional sports like football and hockey, ensuring that newcomers can join without prior combat experience. GFFG hosts regular training sessions and events, creating opportunities for practitioners to connect and learn.
