Geschichtsfrënn vun der Gemeng Hesper is a local history association dedicated to preserving and sharing the heritage of Hesperange, Luxembourg. Established in 1994, the group collects and archives historical material relating to the municipality and makes it accessible to residents and others interested in the area’s past. Its work covers the villages of Alzingen, Fentingen, Hesperange, Howald and Itzig, whose history stretches from early settlements and Roman remains to more recent community life.

The association brings local history to the public through publications, exhibitions and lectures, and its website offers historical articles and extracts from its work. Its publications include books on the history of Hesperange and the municipality’s development, as well as themed journals. Visitors can also explore the area through the association’s walking trails, including routes in Howald, Hesperange and Itzig. Online resources document local monuments, memorials, commemorative plaques and historically significant street names. By combining research, archival work and public outreach, Geschichtsfrënn helps preserve the municipality’s cultural heritage for present and future generations.
