About GfZK
Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig (GfZK) is an exhibition center and museum dedicated to contemporary art and art after 1945. Located in Leipzig, the gallery promotes and showcases international artistic positions in both private and public spaces. It also initiates and carries out collaborative and research projects.
With a diverse collection, the GfZK integrates various forms of artistic expression, positions, and generations. In addition to exhibitions, the gallery offers a range of services and amenities, including a library, a garden, a shop, a hotel, and event space rental. Visitors can also enjoy the café on-site.
The GfZK Leipzig is open from Tuesday to Friday from 14:00 to 19:00, and on weekends from 12:00 to 18:00. On Wednesdays, admission is free, and there are guided tours available on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Donations are appreciated, and bookings for guided tours can be made
