About Ghana Code Club
Ghana Code Club is an after-school program that aims to empower children in Ghana by teaching them computer programming skills. Through their various programs, children between the ages of 5 and 17 can join computer science programs held in schools, community centers, and libraries, where they learn to create computer games, animations, interactive arts, websites, and mobile apps. The club believes that computer programming and technical skills are essential tools for empowerment in today's digital world.
Their mission is to ensure that every child, especially girls, has access to these skills, enabling them to thrive and succeed. With a vision of a prosperous Ghana where future generations have the knowledge and confidence to harness technology, Ghana Code Club offers various initiatives such as after-school coding clubs, weekend schools, summer boot camps, and girls' clubs to make learning to code accessible, enjoyable, and educational. By providing hands-on, interactive technology education, Ghana Code Club equips children with the necessary skills to change their world
