About ASCD Ghana
Ghana ASCD is a leading non-profit educational organization in Ghana, dedicated to delivering a 21st-century world-class education. As the first African affiliate of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), Ghana ASCD aligns with the mother organization in the US to ensure excellence in learning, teaching, and leading for every child.
Since its establishment in 2017, Ghana ASCD has been organizing educational conferences, workshops, and development programs for teachers, school leaders, and educators. They also consult for Ghana's Ministry of Education and are the leading partner for the National Educational Leadership Institute (NELI) project. With grants from prestigious foundations like Jacobs Foundation and BigWin Philanthropies, Ghana ASCD develops materials and learning resources to support NELI's implementation.
Ghana ASCD will soon launch "EdExpress," a newsletter bringing educational news to educators in Ghana and beyond. Additionally, starting in October 2023, they plan to initiate training workshops (Saturday Institute) that will cover current trends in educational research and practice.
With a dedicated leadership team and a strong commitment to their mission and vision, Ghana ASCD is poised to become a trusted resource for educational consultancy and professional learning services in Ghana and the sub-region.
