About Ghana Health and Education Initiative
Ghana Health and Education Initiative (GHEI) is a nonprofit and non-governmental organization that has been making a significant impact since its establishment in 2004. Our mission is clear: we aim to empower communities in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai (BAB) Municipality of Ghana by improving children's health, promoting learning success, and enhancing livelihood opportunities. We believe that all individuals have a fundamental right to health and education.
By investing in children and youth, we envision a future where they can realize their full potential and lead their communities out of poverty. Our programs focus on providing essential health and education resources, building local capacity, and cultivating local leadership. We also place a strong emphasis on closing the gender achievement gap by investing additional time and resources in supporting girls.
