Guerra’s House of Warriors is a martial arts gym in Alvin, Texas, offering training for children, teens, and adults. Founded in 2005, the gym is led by owner and head coach Adam Guerra, a former professional fighter with experience in MMA and no-holds-barred competition in Japan, Mexico, and the United States. Guerra has trained on the mat since age four and holds a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and a seventh-degree Combat Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
Programs include kids’ classes for ages four to seven and eight to ten, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for ages eleven and up, and MMA training that combines boxing, kickboxing, and wrestling. Classes emphasize technique, self-defense, fitness, discipline, respect, and safe, careful coaching. Students progress through earned belts, stripes, and achievements, while families and teammates are encouraged to train and grow together.
The gym operates Monday through Thursday evenings at 206 E House Street. Guerra’s House of Warriors offers a free first class, with no pressure to commit, so prospective students can meet the coach and try a session.
