François Giacobino is a glass artist based in St-Sulpice, Switzerland, whose work focuses on sculptures made from kiln-cast crystal and pâte de verre. His website presents both sculptures currently offered for sale and works that have been sold, alongside information about the artist and the process used to create the pieces. The sculptures explore the qualities of glass, including crystal’s luminous brilliance and the changing textures visible throughout each form.
Because photographs cannot fully convey the material’s shine or the effects within the sculptures’ volume, visitors are encouraged to view the works in person. Visits to the artist’s studio are available by appointment. A selection of approximately 13 to 15 sculptures is also displayed in the entrance window of the Hôtel-Restaurant du Débarcadère in St-Sulpice.
The site additionally lists exhibitions, including temporary shows, and provides contact details for enquiries. Through these presentations, Giacobino makes his glass sculptures accessible to prospective buyers and visitors interested in seeing the works firsthand
