Kemijärven Moottorikerho (KeMot) is a registered motor sports association based in Kemijärvi, Finland. Founded in 1975, it was established to organize snowmobile and motorcycle competitions. In recent years, its activities have focused on snowmobile racing in both winter and summer, alongside community events and services for members and visitors.
The club organizes Giant Kemijärvi, described as Finland’s first and longest snowmobile endurance rally. First held in 1991, the two-day event covers more than 500 kilometres and includes approximately 200 kilometres of special stages each day. KeMot also organizes Watercross Kemijärvi, a summer competition featuring snowmobiles racing on water; the next event is scheduled for summer 2026. Visitors can find event information, results, archives, race details and a photo gallery through the club’s website. The organization also offers membership and maintains a café at the Watercross event, serving snacks and refreshments. A snowmobile and chainsaw museum is scheduled to open in summer 2026, extending the club’s activities beyond competition and supporting interest in motor sports and their heritage.
