Gibej

Slavomír Gibej’s Body Casting Design transforms the human body into distinctive, lasting works of art. Working since 2013, Gibej collaborates with clients to create one-of-a-kind sculptures that combine each person’s individual form with his artistic craft. The process goes beyond making a simple copy: casts are stylised, sanded and refined into considered designs intended as unique interior centrepieces. Studios are based in Bratislava and Prague, and commissioned works are available worldwide.

The studio offers artistic body casts, intimate casts, custom sculptures and artworks, as well as finished original pieces for sale with certificates. Its work also includes death masks and the 3pičník, an erotic ashtray. Clients can explore the creative process, learn about casting techniques and read stories covering subjects such as pose, colour, materials and the development of the sculptures. Through this personal, collaborative approach, Gibej invites clients to become co-authors of artworks that preserve the character and contours of the body in sculptural form.
