Giedon

Giedon is a planned community and leisure destination opening in May 2027 on the site of the former Boerenhof in Oostakker, Belgium. Bringing movement, connection and relaxation together, it aims to offer a welcoming place for local residents, visitors, sports enthusiasts and event organisers.

The site will include a Foodhub with three restaurants and a bar, alongside a range of activities and facilities. These are set to include spinning, yoga, strength training and other group classes, as well as a swimming pool for lessons and rehabilitation. A cycling and triathlon club, bike repair area, care-provider practice rooms, children’s play spaces and green outdoor areas are also part of the plans.

Giedon will offer versatile event spaces for business gatherings and family occasions, including team days, communion celebrations and memorial gatherings. Its organisers plan to work with clients to shape events to suit each occasion, with food, sport and outdoor space available on one site.
