樂齡科技博覽暨高峰會 Gerontech & Innovation Expo cum Summit

The Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES) is a flagship event co-hosted by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, with collaboration from the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. Scheduled for November 21-24, 2024, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, this expo stands as the largest public education initiative focused on gerontech in Hong Kong.

Since its inception in 2017, GIES has received tremendous support from various sectors, providing an invaluable platform for the public to engage with and understand gerontech products and solutions. The event not only promotes the proactive application of technology in local elderly care and rehabilitation services but also fosters dialogue among stakeholders, driving policy improvements and enhancing social and economic development. By addressing the challenges posed by an aging population and the rehabilitation needs of individuals with disabilities, GIES advances the discourse on innovative solutions in gerontech.
