Gilford Silverhawks Football

Friends of Gilford Football is a community organization established in 2003 to provide an additional fall educational and athletic opportunity for students in Gilford and Gilmanton. Its central objective is to create an environment that encourages character development and good sportsmanship through youth football. The founders designed the program to welcome young people from Gilford, Gilmanton, and surrounding towns that do not offer a youth tackle football program.

The organization operates the Gilford Silverhawks youth tackle football program, which is open to students entering grades 3 through 8 in the fall. Students in grades 3 through 6 play in the Snowbelt League, while those in grades 7 and 8 compete in the Granite State League. By organizing teams across these grade levels, Friends of Gilford Football gives local students access to structured football competition.

Its website provides program information and FAQs, team details, and ways to connect, as well as access to Dibs. The site is powered by SportsEngine and is subject to the Friends of Gilford Football privacy policy.
