Gilmour Pacific

Gilmour Pacific Trading, LLC, headed by owner and CEO Johnny Gilmour, is a reputable brand rooted in a rich farming heritage. With a strong family legacy in agriculture, Johnny's farming expertise runs deep. The Gilmour family's farming traditions can be traced back several generations on both sides.

Johnny's grandpa cultivated a variety of crops in California and Oregon, while the Gilmour family has been involved in farming since the late 1800s in the Willamette Valley. Inspired by his upbringing, Johnny ventured into the bespoke straw bale industry, gradually expanding his operations in the beautiful landscapes of Oregon. In 2012, Gilmour Pacific Trading was established as an agricultural exporting business, specializing in shipping double compressed hay and straw bales overseas.

Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, including three hay presses and a fleet of Peterbilts, Gilmour Pacific Trading has significantly grown over the years. In 2020, they successfully exported approximately 140,000 tons across multiple countries. With a commitment to excellence, Gilmour Pacific Trading offers the highest-grade alfalfa bales, sourced from trusted local farmers who have long-standing relationships with Johnny's family.

These alfalfa fields in Christmas Valley, Oregon, benefit from the region's distinctive climate, resulting in unparalleled quality. With an experienced workforce and a dedication to delivering top-notch products, Gilmour Pacific Trading continues its legacy of exceptional service in the agricultural industry
