Give Girls A Chance is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 with the mission to increase young girls' access to quality education in Nigeria. Recognizing that less than half of school-age girls in Nigeria are enrolled and graduate from school, we believe that educating girls is the most powerful investment for shaping a better future for the country. Working directly with students in four secondary schools in the Abuja area, we provide comprehensive support to girls from low-income families between the ages of 10 and 19 years.

Our dedicated team of mentors and volunteers offer scholarships, mentorships, and guidance to address barriers such as lack of access, low levels of awareness of the importance of education, and poor infrastructure. Through our programs, we partner with schools, sponsors, and local organizations to equip girls with knowledge, skills, and confidence. We also link them with qualified mentors to enhance their physical, mental, and social well-being. Additionally, we offer programs and scholarships to improve literacy levels and stress the benefits of quality education.

By intervening at multiple levels simultaneously, including the girl-child, families and communities, schools, and society, we create an ecosystem of support for girls in our programs. Our ultimate goal is to see an additional 1,000 girls stay enrolled in and graduate from primary and secondary schools by 2025, while also improving the operational capacity of at least 10 schools across Nigeria.
