Give Jagtforening

Give Jagtforening is a local hunting association based in Give, Denmark, bringing members together for organised hunting, outdoor activities and practical work in nearby forests and plantations. Its seasonal programme includes collective hunts, spring and autumn deer stalking, fishing trips, rook management, raccoon dog control, hunting-horn activities and dog training. The association also coordinates access to hunting areas, shares area maps and organises bookings and lotteries for hunting opportunities.

Members can take part in range practice and preparation days, while volunteer workdays help maintain the woods, buildings, feeding equipment and facilities used for hunts. Social events, including family fishing outings and gatherings at the hunters’ cabin, add a community dimension to the programme. Give Jagtforening publishes news, event details, hunting updates, rules and meeting information, and welcomes new members.

It also provides access to information about blood-tracking dog handlers for locating wounded game. The association is supported by a volunteer board and committees covering activities such as hunting, game management, pheasants, facilities and communications
