The Hostos Community College Foundation, working with the College’s Division of Institutional Advancement, raises funds to support Hostos Community College’s educational mission and help keep its opportunities accessible. Its giving program invites donors to direct contributions toward scholarships, student support initiatives, and community service programs. Available funds include awards for transfer students, student-parents, veterans, and learners pursuing fields such as nursing, STEM, business, and the performing arts, as well as memorial and endowed scholarships.

Donors may also support emergency assistance, student leadership, the Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture, or the Foundation’s unrestricted fund. Gifts can be made in set amounts or at another chosen level. Supporters interested in establishing a named scholarship can contact the Foundation; the stated minimum gift is $5,000.

Through these options, the Foundation helps provide services and opportunities for students and the wider community, contributing to Hostos’s role as a South Bronx anchor institution. The Foundation also shares news, events, annual reports, and information about ways to give, including planned giving
