With a strong emphasis on language education and effective teaching methods, our school provides a high-quality education for our students. Established in 1991, we were one of the first private schools in the country to gain official recognition from the Ministry of Education. Our comprehensive 4-year study program caters to 180 students across 8 classes.

In the upcoming academic year, we plan to open two more classes, each with 20-22 students. Our dedicated teaching staff, consisting of highly-qualified and university-trained teachers, ensures that our students receive the best education possible. Our curriculum aligns with the framework educational program for grammar schools, providing students with training in science, humanities, and visual arts.

We offer a fully equipped computer laboratory with unlimited internet access, and students are required to take English classes with a native English speaker. Additionally, they can choose from German, Spanish, or French as their second obligatory foreign language. We believe in the importance of personal growth and encourage students to actively participate in shaping their own study plans.

We offer a wide range of optional classes, including subjects like music, philosophy, economics, and IT, allowing students to explore their interests and broaden their knowledge. At Jan Palach Grammar School, we value the individuality and uniqueness of each student. We admit students based on a combined entrance examination that assesses their language skills and general knowledge.

However, genuine interest in attending our school is paramount, and primary school results are only one of the factors considered during the admissions process. Outside of the classroom, our students have the opportunity to engage in various extracurricular activities. These include student exchanges, sightseeing tours, intensive sports courses, and cultural experiences such as trips to the theater and cinema.
