Glacian Technologies Inc. develops Physical AI software to help data centers reduce cooling energy use and expand AI computing capacity. Its platform combines physics-based models with artificial intelligence to analyze real-world cooling systems and adapt to changing operating conditions. By lowering the power required for cooling, Glacian aims to help operators support more compute without utility permits or major construction.

The company’s offering includes modular digital twins, multi-objective optimization, and actionable performance insights. The software evaluates trade-offs across cooling performance, power consumption, energy, reliability, compliance, and carbon impact. Its vendor-agnostic architecture is designed to integrate with existing data center infrastructure, including DCIM and monitoring platforms, as well as cooling systems. Glacian also offers local server deployment, keeping critical data on-premise for customer control and cybersecurity.

The company says its technology draws on more than a decade of research supported by over $8 million in competitive grants from organizations including the U.S. Department of Energy, Department of Defense, National Science Foundation, ASHRAE, JPMorgan Chase, and Penn State University.
