Glacier Guard

Glacier Guard is a winter gear brand developing a modular face-covering system for mountain use. Its design lets wearers replace a damp face mask without removing the fleece hood or extended neck coverage, helping them refresh the layer exposed to breath and snow. The Glacier Guard Kit is available for preorder at $59.99 USD and includes one gaiter, five interchangeable one-size masks, and a mesh pouch, all in Midnight Black. The gaiter comes in M/L and L/XL, with prototype target head measurements of 56–61 cm and 57–62 cm respectively.

The prototype combines brushed-back stretch fleece with a windproof softshell mask, a TPU membrane, spacer mesh at the breathing zone, and grid-fleece lining. Four reinforced snap points attach each mask, while flatlock seams are designed for comfort under helmets and goggles. Glacier Guard also provides sizing, care, and product information, and offers email updates about launch news and shipping. Product fit, performance, and final specifications remain subject to sample testing, and the shipping date has not yet been announced.
