Glasgow Archers is a registered Scottish charity and archery club founded in 1948. Based in Glasgow, it aims to make the mental and physical benefits of archery accessible to more people while helping build a centre of excellence for the sport. The club welcomes participants of different ages, abilities and interests, from juniors to veterans and social archers to competitive shooters. It supports a range of archery styles, from traditional to modern, but does not offer crossbow archery.
Coaching and mentoring are central to the club’s activities. Beginners receive guidance from coaches and experienced members, while archers can find resources to help develop their skills and fitness. Glasgow Archers is affiliated with the Scottish Archery Association, Archery GB and World Archery.
